Im Yeonjeong is a Seoul-based filmmaker. She has directed several short films, including Flowerpot (2012), Cut Glass Bowl (2014), and Fly (2016), which screened at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. RECOVERY (2026) is her debut feature, in which she places herself in front of her own camera for the first time—as subject, director, and observer—tracing the connection between a decade-long creative block, the trauma, and the language of jiu-jitsu. Having developed projects across both fiction and documentary formats, her work examines the intersection of physical endurance, psychological resilience, and artistic identity.

서울을 기반으로 활동하는 영화감독이자 시나리오 작가. 단편영화 〈화분〉(2012), 〈컷글라스 그릇〉(2014), 클레르몽페랑 국제단편영화제, 전주국제영화제 등에서 상영된 〈플라이〉(2016)를 연출했다. 장편영화 기획 개발 및 시리즈 대본 집필을 병행해 왔으며, 첫 장편 연출작인 〈리커버리〉(2026)에서는 연출자이자 주체, 관찰자로서 스스로를 카메라 앞에 세운다. 현재 차기작으로 장편 극영화를 개발 중이다.
